Durham Cricket Club (DCC)
Durham Cricket Club (DCC) was born out of a shared passion for cricket among 14 enthusiastic players who began playing together at Gulfstream Park in 2014. As their participation in local tournaments grew, so did the idea of forming an official club—one that could nurture the sport and foster a strong sense of community.
Guided by this vision, DCC was formally established with 12 dedicated directors and quickly became a cornerstone of cricket in the Durham region. In 2016, we proudly organized our first official tournament, which was met with tremendous success. Since then, our annual tournaments—held at the Ajax Cricket Ground—have continued to bring together players and fans from all walks of life, celebrating both competition and community spirit.
